how to make homemade laundry soap
Go to kroger and buy
20 mule team brand, borax in the laundry aisle
Arm and hammer washing soda,(not baking soda), kroger usually has this in the laundry aisle
a bar of ivory soap. with the body soaps.
grate the soap into a sauce pan, add 6 cups of water and heat until the soap melts. Add three forths a cup washing soda and three forths a cup borax and stir until it is dissolved. remove from the heat. pour four cups hot water into a bucket, add the soap mixture from the sauce pan and stir. then add 1 gallon and 6 cups of water and stir. then let the mixture sit overnight and it will gel. it wil be the consistancy of eggnoodle soup. runny with gel chunks in it. use one half cup per load of laundry or more to your desire. it works well. and the final cost is about 1 cent per load and 15 minutes work.
