This is Derek. It’s been a long time since anyone has posted. A lot of the things we have been speaking of and trying to do, are starting to materialize all at once! We have purchased one house and should have another on jan. 20th. We have an accepted offer on the old Sassy Kats building, and are due to close in bout 2 weeks. We have had new people join our community! Currently there is Laura, bub, sis, zeke, becca, Todd, Shannon, sandy, Brandon, jenni, patoni , Chris, alex, and myself who are a direct part of our crew. We have been working with others from our hood more too! Our Dathouse inc. board has had a few changes, including a new director who lives in bates hendricks. It’s very exciting to have conversations with people from our hood about becoming homeowners. We feel blessed to be a part of helping that happen. We did the survey of our hood and it’s been very interesting looking over the info, especially concerning ideas for a community center. It’s hard to believe that dream is not far off. We will keep you all posted. We will have work days posted on here soon.
